I want my MTV – Ibiza
I fell in love with Ibiza as an 18 year old and that love will never end. Holidays at first with mates, then work with Aftershock, XBOX and LYNX. As soon as I started at MTV I was looking for opportunities to get the brand on the island.
After the success Ibiza Rocks had with live music, I saw a change in the landscape and an opportunity for MTV do the same.
Amnesia was the perfect partner who also had similar aspirations to bring ‘live’ artists to the island, so I created a joint venture with them. Then built the brand I want my MTV and project managed the following; commercial joint venture, creative, contract, talent booking, production, promotion, marketing and press.
It was a great summer!
