I got talking to various contacts in Derry after working in Belfast for 3 years, I then drove up there to meet the council and the city of culture team. Derry is a beautiful city with an amazing story, which is perfect for MTV Crashes as we love going to places off the beaten track. The venue was the Ebrington military base, which has been transformed into an outdoor music venue, complete with its own bridge linking it with the city centre.

For the first time we did 2 nights, with MTV Crashes on the first night followed by Club MTV. This is a model we will use going forward, as it extends the brands reach and increases the economic impact for the city partners.
